My Journey

I began my career as a nurse in Berlin, Germany, gaining experience in diverse healthcare fields, including HIV, oncology and palliative care.

Witnessing the amazing strength and resilience humans develop when confronted with life's biggest challenges deepened my interest in the human psyche.

I gained further education in counseling and psychotherapy and acquired clinical experience working with eating disorders, addictions, OCD, depression, and psychosomatic disorders. Additionally I have been actively involved in crisis intervention for young adults.

I am trained in Integrative Psychotherapy, holding diplomas from the IICP in Dublin and the Institut für Psychotherapeutische Weiterbildung Frankfurt in Germany, complemented by advanced specialization in Schema Therapy at the Institut för Schematherapie Frankfurt. I am currently completing my postgraduate psychotherapy training at Högskolan SAPU in Stockholm in order to qualify for the Swedish psychotherapist license.

Motherhood and cross cultural understanding

In addition to my professional pursuits, I am a proud mother of three children. Being a parent has significantly enriched my perspective as a Therapist and contributed to my understanding of family dynamics and the various challenges each age brings.
